The original Manta uses separate eye cups that can move along its headband. Manta’s product page describes this as a way to customize the fit and keep material away from the eyes. That construction makes it worth comparing if you dislike fabric lying directly across your eyelids.
The useful question is whether the cups line up with your face without leaving a gap around the nose. Tightening the band is not a substitute for adjusting their positions. Try the mask in the position you actually use for resting, especially if you lean against a pillow.
Choose this design for adjustability; consider a flatter mask if packing space matters more. We have not measured its light blocking or tested comfort. The manufacturer markets complete blackout, but NapKit does not treat that claim as a guaranteed result for every face.
