The original Trtl Travel Pillow combines an internal support with a fleece wrap. It is a different proposition from a U-shaped cushion: compare it when your main problem is finding a supported position while sitting upright on a train, bus, or flight.
The manufacturer says to remove the support before washing the fabric on its specified cold cycle. That removable construction is useful to know before buying, since a pillow carried through stations and airports needs a realistic cleaning routine.
This shape will not suit every neck or seat. Think about whether you tend to lean to one side, whether you tolerate fabric around your neck, and whether you usually feel warm while travelling. We have not worn or tested it. Follow Trtl’s fitting instructions and check the retailer’s return conditions. Also distinguish the original model from COOL and PLUS versions; their features should not be treated as interchangeable.
